Renewable Energy Solutions

Today a wide selection of environmentally-friendly solutions are used to generate electricity, improve energy efficiency, and
reduce carbon emissions.

Alternative approaches range from hybrid to completely off-grid.

Technologies include solar PV kits, hybrid inverters, lithium battery storage, heat exchangers/heat pumps, LED lighting and voltage optimisers.

Mzansi Green Solutions is a leading renewable energy company that provides a wide range of innovative products for both residential and commercial use.

Solar PV Solutions

A solar PV (or photovoltaic) system, is a renewable energy generating system designed to supply usable solar power by means of photovoltaics. It consists of an arrangement of several components, including solar panels to absorb and convert sunlight into electricity, a solar inverter to change the electric current from DC to AC, as well as mounting, cabling and other electrical accessories to set up a working system.

Heat Pumps

Domestic hot water heat pumps use a small amount of electricity to extract a lot of energy from the surrounding air. Heat pumps use environmental energy from their surroundings starting with the sun warming our environment and then the heat pump draws warm energy into the unit to begin the heating process.

As the heat pump draws energy from its surroundings it is not dependent on direct sunshine and so it can work day and night, winter and summer.

The efficiency of a heat pump is called COP (Coefficient of Performance),  A COP value of 4 means that the heat pump produces four time as much thermal energy as what it uses electrically from your grid supply - in the ideal weather/environmental conditions a 75% saving on the water heating bill is possible.

However the COP of a heat pump is dependent on a number of factors, the ambient temperature, the water temperature and so, in a standard working environment a domestic hot water system using a well-designed ITS heat pump, is generally able to achieve an annual COP value is 3 - in other words a 66% saving on your water heating bill. The two biggest power consumers in your home are your stove and your geyser/water heater, start improving the energy efficiency of your home by installing a heat pump from us.
